At the time of your appointment, a face mask must be worn at all times. Only patients are allowed in the office. If someone is accompanying you to your appointment they must wait in the car until you are taken into a room. Our staff will call them on their cell phone or go to the car and bring them to your room.
If you have ANY symptoms, a fever, or have been exposed to anyone with Covid we will need to reschedule your appointment.

Orin Atlas, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of neck and back disorders in Hainesport, New Jersey. As the owner and medical director of Atlas Spine, Dr. Atlas sees children and adults of all ages for joint diseases and reconstruction of the spine and provides conservative and surgical care for back and neck pain.
Dr. Atlas began his education at the University of Vermont where he earned his bachelor’s degree before attending medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), now Rutgers University, in Newark, New Jersey. During his time at UMDNJ, Dr. Atlas was a member of the National Medical Honor Society.
After earning his medical doctorate, Dr. Atlas completed his orthopedic training at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. He then completed a fellowship in orthopedic and neurosurgical spine surgery at New York University (NYU) Hospital for Joint Diseases, now NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, in New York City. Through his training, Dr. Atlas has extensive experience in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of spinal conditions ranging from simple issues to more complex spinal diseases.
Dr. Atlas is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and focuses exclusively on spinal care. He is actively involved in medical research and has co-authored multiple publications. He is a member of The North American Spine Society, The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and sits on the board of directors for The New Jersey State Spine Society. Dr. Atlas is affiliated with Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey, Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, and Millennium Surgical Center in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
